NEW FREEDOM, PA – Police are seeking to identify a woman who is suspected in a possible child luring attempt in New Freedom.
On Tuesday, around 6:25 PM, a child reported an unsettling encounter with an unknown woman. The woman, described as a white female aged between 20-30, with her hair pulled up and driving a dark-colored pickup truck, was said to have approached the child in a threatening manner near the intersection of Heritage CT and E. Franklin St.
The child retreated into a nearby house and secured the door. The woman was last seen departing in the pickup truck. The direction of her departure remains unknown.
