NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD received a report of an altercation at Bella Abzug Park, where a 32-year-old male became involved in a dispute with an unknown individual. The incident occurred on Saturday evening.
During the confrontation, the unidentified individual inflicted a laceration on the victim’s face using an unknown object.

The suspect was last spotted at the intersection of 1st Avenue and East 34th Street. He is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 5’9 to 5’10” tall, with a slim build and facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was dressed in a gray baseball cap, gray polo shirt, black pants, and gray sneakers.
Emergency Medical Services addressed the victim, transporting him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue.
The victim’s condition was stable upon arrival.
