Newark Police Seek Assistance in Locating Missing 70-Year-Old Man with Alzheimer's

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé has issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating 70-year-old Errol Bryan, who was reported missing on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Mr. Bryan, who is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, was last seen around 4 p.m. in the 100 block of West Runyon Street, Newark. Known as “Poppie,” he may be headed to Pomona Avenue.

Mr. Bryan is described as being 5’6″ tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has gray hair, a full gray beard, and was last seen wearing a black hat with a symbol on it, a yellow shirt with brown letters, black sweatpants, black shoes with red soles, and no socks.

The family and authorities are deeply concerned for his well-being due to his medical condition, and they urge the public to keep an eye out for him.
