Unidentified Male Found Deceased in Bronx; Investigation Underway

BRONX, NY – A disturbing discovery was made on Saturday, when police received a 911 call reporting an unconscious individual at Whitlock Avenue and Bruckner Blvd in the Bronx, within the 41st Precinct’s jurisdiction.

Upon arrival at approximately 11:16 a.m., officers found an unidentified, unconscious, and unresponsive male inside a garbage bag, placed inside a cart at the location. EMS were dispatched to the scene, where they pronounced the individual deceased.

The deceased has since been identified as Paul Bernardon, a 40-year-old male from 2105 Blackrock Avenue, Bronx, NY.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death. As the investigation remains ongoing, authorities are urging anyone with information pertaining to this case to come forward.
