Solomons, MD – A traffic complaint led to the arrest of Charles Raymond Corbin, 48, of Lusby, on August 19, after he was observed driving erratically and causing a disturbance in a Solomons shopping center.

DFC Shoemaker responded to a report of a green van weaving all over the roadway in the area of Patuxent Point Parkway. Upon arrival, the Calvert County Emergency Communication Center directed the officer to a parking lot where Corbin had pulled over and was observed yelling vulgar statements and flailing his arms, attracting the attention of nearby shoppers.

Despite being given multiple commands to cease his disorderly behavior, Corbin failed to comply. He was subsequently placed into custody and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.

Corbin has been charged with Disorderly Conduct and Intoxicated Public Disturbance. The incident underscores the continued efforts of law enforcement to maintain public order and safety in community spaces.
