Fatal Pedestrian Accident Under Investigation on Cranbury Road in East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – A pedestrian, Matthew H. Brunner, was fatally struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Cranbury Road and Henly Drive.

On September 1, at around 20:16 hours, East Brunswick Police responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a car. Brunner, a 32-year-old resident of East Brunswick, was critically injured and later pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were uninjured and cooperated with authorities at the scene.

Patrolman Patrick Lem of the East Brunswick Police Department Special Operations Section is leading the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
