NEW YORK – U.S. Congressman Jerry Nadler, representing New York’s 12th district this week said Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden is being prosecuted unfairly for gun charges that most other people would not be prosecuted for.
Nadler, who has called for strict punishment and enforcement of federal gun laws throughout his career is now backtracking on his previous statements, made before they applied to the President’s own son.
“I applaud the President for today’s announcement of administrative actions to curb gun violence. While we in Congress work to pass legislation to make all of our communities safer, it is critical and welcome that the Executive Branch do its part to ensure that enforcement of current laws keep pace with evolving threats from firearms, such as the proliferation of so-called ghost guns. We pledge that we will continue to do our part to strengthen our gun laws. Americans have demanded action and we are answering the call.”
Now, Nadler is calling the prosecution of Hunter Biden an unjust act.
Hunter Biden’s gun was thrown out in a trash can behind a Delaware deli, where it could have been found by child or criminal with ill-intent. Luckily, it wasn’t, but Biden is now facing charges for that, and for breaking laws voted on by Nadler and his own party.
