13-Year-Old Reported Missing in New York City

NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in finding a 13-year-old boy, Angel Velasquez, who has been reported missing in the Bronx. Velasquez, a resident of 2227 Virgil Place within the 43rd Precinct, was last seen leaving his home on November 24, 2023, at about 2:40 PM.

Angel Velasquez is approximately 4’9” tall, weighing around 100 pounds, with light brown eyes and black hair. His last known attire includes a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers. A photograph of Velasquez is available through the Department’s Chief of Public Information (DCPI).

The NYPD is calling for anyone with information regarding Velasquez’s whereabouts to come forward to assist in ensuring his safe return. The case highlights the importance of community involvement in situations involving missing persons, particularly minors.
