Downtown Graffiti Investigation Leads to Arrest

SYRACUSE, NY – On November 17th, Syracuse Police responded to multiple graffiti incidents in the downtown area, particularly the 300 Block of South Salina Street.

After extensive interviews and a citywide canvass, detectives, in cooperation with local businesses, linked these incidents to further graffiti cases.

On December 6th, four search warrants led to significant evidence recovery. Colin Kolozdieczyk, 24, was identified and arrested without incident.

He faces various charges, including felony criminal mischief, and is linked to damages totaling $8,888.27.

Another suspect, still at large and unidentified, is linked to damages worth $17,017.77 and faces six felony charges.
