by Breaking Local News Report

NANUET, NY — A grand larceny case unfolded at the Rockland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership on Rt. 304, leading to the arrest of three individuals from the Bronx. The Clarkstown Police Department responded to the incident on March 4, after dealership employees reported a suspicious key fob exchange.

Joel Belen, 19, and Mankamang Ceesay, 20, attempted to steal a Jeep Grand Cherokee by swapping its key fob earlier in the day. Their scheme was part of a pattern recognized by the Clarkstown Detective Bureau across several dealerships. A police detail, including detectives and CPD Street Crime Unit officers, anticipated the thieves’ return, leading to their capture late that evening.
