Attempted Armed Robbery in the Bronx as Suspects Sought

NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday, at approximately 11:23 AM, a distressing incident unfolded at 2859 Barker Avenue, where three unidentified men embarked on a failed robbery attempt. The trio targeted a 50-year-old male, menacing him with a firearm and attempting to seize his ring.

Despite their efforts, the assailants were unable to secure the ring and subsequently fled the scene on foot. Remarkably, the incident resulted in no physical injuries to the victim.

Authorities have provided descriptions of the suspects in hopes of facilitating their capture. The first suspect, a man aged between 20 and 30 with a dark complexion and slim build, was observed wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and white sneakers. The second, slightly younger at 18 to 25 years old with a light complexion and similar build, was noted for his dark attire, face mask, and white sneakers. The third man, aged between 25 and 30, also with a dark complexion and slim build, stood out in a black hat, dark-colored vest, white shirt, light-colored pants, and multicolored sneakers.
