LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred inside a residence in Largo. The victim has been identified as 72-year-old Lee Harding Jr.
On the evening of April 1, police were called to a home on the 700 block of Narrowleaf Drive around 11:50 pm, following reports of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, officers found Harding suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries several hours later.
Detectives are actively working to determine the motive behind the attack and to identify any suspects involved. Initial investigations suggest that this was not a random act of violence.
