Paterson, NJ – Over the weekend, the Nightlife Task Force made 10 arrests and shut down two after-hours locations in Paterson.
The Task Force reported that over 20 known after-hours locations remained closed, reducing the potential for violence and other quality of life issues in the city. The actions were part of ongoing efforts to maintain order and safety within Paterson.

Cariddi, 40, has been sentenced in connection with engaging in inappropriate online communications with a child from North Carolina. Judge Claudia Jones, on Tuesday, sentenced Cariddi to three years in New Jersey State Prison, with a condition that he serves 18 months without parole eligibility. The case involved Cariddi conducting explicit online conversations with a 9-year-old child between December 11, 2022, and January 10, 2023. During these interactions, Cariddi exposed himself and solicited explicit images from the victim. These actions led to his arrest on March 8, 2024, resulting from an investigation by local authorities.
