by Breaking Local News Report

BUFFALO, NY—A lucky Powerball Powerplay ticket worth $2,000,000 was sold at a 7-ELEVEN in Buffalo, according to the New York Lottery. The second-prize-winning ticket from the June 19 Powerball drawing was purchased at the convenience store located at 8000 Main St.

Powerball numbers are selected from a pool ranging from 1 to 69, and the Power Ball itself is chosen from a separate set of numbers from 1 to 26. The Power Play option, which this winning ticket utilized, allows players to increase their non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times. The Powerball drawings are held three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
