Armed 22-Year-Old Didn’t Run Fast Enough, Caught by Baltimore Police

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 22-year-old male was arrested Monday night after attempting to flee from police during a proactive enforcement operation on Reisterstown Road, authorities said. The incident occurred around 11:04 p.m. when District Action Team officers observed the individual exhibiting signs of being armed.

After the suspect fled on foot, officers, with the assistance of a police helicopter known as Foxtrot, apprehended him in the 3500 block of Woodbrook Avenue. A loaded handgun was recovered during the arrest.

The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges related to the handgun violation.
