Alert: Missing teen reported in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who has been reported missing from the Bronx. Ian Ortiz was last seen on Sunday, according to police.

Ortiz was reportedly last spotted leaving his home at approximately 5 p.m. on September 8. He is described as a White Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds.

At the time of his disappearance, Ortiz was wearing a burgundy sweater, black sweatpants, and black sneakers. Authorities are continuing their search for the missing teenager and have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
