Bronx man fatally stabbed at Coney Island subway station; investigation ongoing

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 54-year-old Bronx man was fatally stabbed at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station late Tuesday night, according to the New York City Police Department.

The victim, identified as Timothy Rudolph of Arnow Avenue in the Bronx, was found by officers after police responded to a 911 call for an assault at approximately 11:20 p.m. on October 29. When officers arrived at the station, located within the 60th Precinct and Transit District 34, they discovered Rudolph with a stab wound in his back.

Emergency medical services transported Rudolph to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was later pronounced dead.

As of Thursday, no arrests have been made, and police have not released any information about potential suspects. The NYPD is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal assault. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the police.
