Gloucester County bar sells $590K winning Quick Draw ticket
Woodbury, NJ – A Quick Draw player walked away with more than half a million dollars Tuesday after buying a lucky ticket in Gloucester County that hit 50% of the Progressive Jackpot.
The winning ticket, worth a staggering $590,170, was purchased at Southwood Bar located at 795 Mantua Pike in Woodbury, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The ticket matched all nine “Your Jackpot Numbers” drawn, securing half the current Quick Draw Progressive prize.
The Quick Draw Progressive is a fast-paced draw game available at all lottery retailers. It features a rolling jackpot that builds until it’s hit. Players automatically receive a unique set of nine jackpot numbers at the bottom of every Quick Draw ticket at no extra charge. Matching all nine in any eligible draw wins a share of the pot.
The amount won is determined by how much the player wagered. A $1 bet secures 10% of the jackpot, a $5 ticket earns 50%, and a $10 bet or more snags the entire jackpot. The winner in this case bet $5 per draw, scoring exactly half the prize.
As of Wednesday morning, the Quick Draw Progressive Jackpot has already climbed past $593,000 and continues to grow.
The New Jersey Lottery has not yet announced the identity of the winning player.
