FLAGLER COUNTY, FL – A single-engine plane has crashed on the I-95 northbound lane this morning. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reported the pilot and occupants received only minor injuries.
“FCSO is assisting at the scene of a single-engine plane crash on I-95 north. The occupants sustained minor injuries and two lanes on 95 northbound will be re-opening shortly,” FCSO said.
FAA records show the plane is owned by Daniel P. Kriedeman of Port Orange, Florida. It is a 1949 Cessna 195 capable of holding 5 passengers and has a 300 horsepower Jacobs R755A Series engine. The aircraft’s top speed is 149 miles per hour.
