Baltimore man arrested after drugs found during Anne Arundel traffic stop

ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. — A Baltimore man was arrested after police discovered drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Severn on Sunday, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Officers pulled over a red Chrysler at Pioneer Drive and Reece Road at approximately 2:40 p.m. for a traffic violation.

Police said a search of the vehicle, conducted based on probable cause, led to the seizure of 80 pills of suspected Ecstasy, 16 vials of suspected cocaine, and 15 vials of suspected marijuana.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Larry Joseph Mason of Baltimore, was taken into custody at the scene.

Authorities charged Mason with CDS distribution and possession-related offenses as the investigation continues.
