Elderly woman and young woman slashed inside Bronx apartment building suspect identified and on the run
BRONX, NY — A 77-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman were slashed in the face inside a Bronx apartment building Monday night, and police have identified a 26-year-old suspect now being sought in connection with the attack.
The assault occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. in a residential building near Underhill Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard within the 43rd Precinct.
Investigators said the two victims were approached by a 26-year-old male inside the building. The suspect allegedly used a cutting instrument to slash both women in the face before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.

No arrests have been made. The extent of the victims’ injuries was not immediately disclosed.
Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Montesdeoca.
