Cumberland woman arrested after skipping court date
CUMBERLAND, MD — A 32-year-old Cumberland woman was arrested Thursday on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court and was later cited for drug paraphernalia possession, police said.
Ericka Adele Holloway was taken into custody Feb. 12 on an active bench warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court the previous day. The warrant alleges she failed to appear in District Court on a prior charge of driving without a license.
Holloway was brought before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and was released on her own recognizance.
At the time of her arrest, officers found her in possession of suspected controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, according to police. She was issued a criminal citation for the offense.
