CUMBERLAND, Md. — A 38-year-old Cumberland woman was arrested Tuesday after police served a bench warrant issued for failing to appear in court, authorities said.

Officers with the Cumberland Police Department located and arrested Aubrey Anne Strachan on Tuesday. The warrant stemmed from a prior failure to appear related to traffic charges.

Strachan was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center and later released pending her court appearance.

The charge is an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
