Man shot in head and killed in early morning Baltimore shooting
BALTIMORE, Md. — A man was killed in an early morning shooting in Southeast Baltimore, prompting a homicide investigation.
Officers responded around 4:30 a.m. on March 21 to the 700 block of North Port Street after reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, police found an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation.
