EAST DONEGAL TOWNSHIP, PA – On April 29, 2023, officers from the Susquehanna Regional Police Department (SRPD) were dispatched to an assault call near 1155 River Road in East Donegal Township.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim with facial injuries and marks around her neck, indicating a potential strangulation.
Police arrested Anthony Kieth Spells after determining he had assaulted the victim by slamming her to the ground and placing his hands around her neck.
Spells was subsequently charged with one count of strangulation (M2) and one count of simple assault (M1).
