Glen Burnie man jumped by four masked robbers at 2 a.m.

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A man was assaulted and robbed by four masked individuals during a strong-arm robbery early Tuesday in Glen Burnie, police reported.

The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on July 9 in the area of Bertram Drive and Overhill Road. The adult male victim told officers that he was attacked by four unknown males wearing masks, who stole several pieces of clothing and his cell phone before he was able to flee and contact 911.

Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. No serious injuries were reported.

The case is being investigated by Northern District detectives.
