Howard County Police Arrest Ellicott City Man After Indecent Exposure Report at Park

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Howard County police arrested a 19-year-old Ellicott City man after a woman reported that he exposed himself to her Thursday morning at a park on Font Hill Drive.

The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Font Hill Drive in Ellicott City, according to the Howard County Police Department’s Friday crime blotter.

Police said the adult female victim reported that a male suspect exposed himself while she was at the park. Officers responded to the area, located the suspect and took him into custody.

Authorities identified the suspect as Falobi John, 19, of Ellicott City. He was charged with indecent exposure.

Overnight Burglaries and Vehicle Break-Ins Reported Across Howard County

Howard County police also reported a commercial burglary overnight in Jessup at Super Antojitos in the 7900 block of Washington Boulevard.

Investigators said unknown suspects forced open a rear door to enter the business and stole change from inside.

Police are also investigating a series of overnight thefts from vehicles and vehicle break-ins reported across multiple Howard County communities.

Among the incidents:

  • Five vehicles in the 10300 block of Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia had airbags stolen
  • Tools were reported stolen from vehicles in Columbia, Jessup and Hidden Cove
  • Copper wire was stolen from a vehicle on Merryrest Road in Columbia
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 6800 block of Walnut Creek Court in Clarksville

Police Investigating Vehicle Thefts in Laurel

Authorities also reported two stolen vehicles from the 8700 block of Freestate Drive in Laurel between May 5 and May 7.

The stolen vehicles were identified as:

  • A 2018 gray Infiniti Q50
  • A 2013 white Hyundai Sonata

Howard County police did not announce any arrests related to the burglary, vehicle break-ins or auto theft cases.

The investigations remain ongoing.
