CLINTON, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has arrested and charged a 39-year-old man for the murder of his wife in their Clinton home. The suspect, identified as Richard Gray III, is charged with the murder of 31-year-old Sheray Gray.
The incident occurred on August 5, at approximately 12:40 am, when officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at the 10000 block of Wisteria Way. Upon arrival, they found the victim, Sheray Gray, suffering from severe trauma. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the preliminary investigation, Richard Gray III killed his wife during an argument that took place at their residence. The suspect was apprehended on the scene and taken into custody.
Richard Gray III is now facing charges of first-degree murder and related offenses. He has been placed in the custody of the Department of Corrections and is being held on a no-bond status.
