Princeton police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of placing anti-Semitic propaganda stickers at multiple locations throughout the community.
PRINCETON, N.J. — Princeton police are searching for a man accused of placing anti-Semitic propaganda stickers on properties throughout the community as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to the Princeton Police Department, the stickers were placed at multiple locations across Princeton and contained anti-Semitic messaging.
Police said the materials appeared to target specific properties and included messages intended to intimidate, harass or promote hatred toward members of the Jewish community.
Investigators released a description of the person they are seeking to identify.
The individual is described as a middle-aged White man with pepper-gray hair who was wearing glasses, a tan shirt, gray shorts and black sneakers. Police said he was riding a light-colored mountain bike.
Detectives are asking anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the incidents to contact the Princeton Police Department and ask for Detective Robert Allie.
Police also asked residents and businesses with surveillance footage, photographs or information related to similar activity to preserve and share that evidence with investigators.
Authorities said they are treating the investigation with the utmost seriousness because of the nature of the materials and their potential impact on the community.
