Driver airlifted after car slams into trees in Berkeley crash

Berkeley Township, NJ – A quiet stretch of roadway turned into an emergency scene when a single vehicle left the road and struck multiple trees, trapping the driver inside.

Responders were dispatched to the area of Dover Road for reports of a crash involving a white 2019 Nissan Maxima. The vehicle had left the roadway and collided with several trees, leaving the driver trapped.

Emergency personnel worked to free the driver, who was reported to be drifting in and out of consciousness. Due to the severity of injuries, the driver was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

No summonses were issued in connection with the crash.
