MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A 41-year-old woman lost her life Thursday night when a car collided with a wooden utility pole in Gaithersburg, according to police.

Officers and medics responded to the 13300 block of Darnestown Road around 10:30 p.m. on November 21, where they discovered a blue 2007 Toyota Camry had been traveling west before striking the pole.

The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
