YONKERS, NY – A male was found unconscious with a gunshot wound in a parking garage on 73 Highland Avenue in Yonkers on Friday evening at around 6:30 PM.
Despite the efforts of first responders and local medical personnel, the male was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.
Detectives from the Major Case Squad, Crime Scene Unit, and Digital Forensics Unit of the Yonkers Police Department have taken over the investigation.
The identity of the victim remains confidential and no arrests have been made as yet. Further details about the incident may be released as the investigation progresses.
