STAFFORD, Va. — A Stafford man was arrested on multiple charges Friday night after fleeing the scene of an accident on Garrisonville Road. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reported that 35-year-old Patrick Ridenour was taken into custody following a traffic stop by Deputy X.D. Bates.

The incident occurred on August 30 when Deputy Bates responded to the 800 block of Garrisonville Road at approximately 8:23 p.m. for a reported hit-and-run. While en route, Deputy Bates observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s car and determined that the registered owner, Ridenour, had active warrants in Stafford County.

A traffic stop was conducted on Shiloh Way, where Ridenour was identified and found to be intoxicated. During the stop, Deputy Bates arrested Ridenour on charges of DUI, felony hit-and-run, open container, failure to maintain the lane, and carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated.
