Suspects Identified in Neabsco Elementary School Burglary

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Detectives have identified two suspects in connection with the July 26 burglary at Neabsco Elementary School in Woodbridge, according to police. The suspects, both 17-year-old male juveniles, were linked to the break-in after a detailed investigation.

On July 26, at approximately 3:09 a.m., officers responded to an alarm activation at the school, located at 3800 Cordell Avenue. Upon investigation, police determined that two individuals, suspected to be juveniles, had entered the building through an unsecured window. The suspects were observed walking around the school before leaving the area in a blue pickup truck. No property was reported stolen.

Following the investigation, detectives sought petitions for the suspects. After consultation with Juvenile Court Services, the case will be handled through the juvenile diversion process, resulting in an informal action.
