HOLMDEL, N.J. — Everett Road in Holmdel Township is closed in both directions following a fallen tree and downed utility lines, the Holmdel Township Police Department announced Monday.
The closure extends from Red Hill Road to American Way, with no through traffic allowed until further notice. Police have advised motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
Utility companies have been notified and are working to address the issue, according to the department. No estimated time for reopening has been provided.
“Updates will be provided when the roadway is reopened,” the police department stated.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time as detours may cause delays.
