Newark Woman Arrested After High-Speed Chase on Interstate 68

ALLEGENY COUNTY, MD – On Monday, Sabre Fontasia Taylor, a 23-year-old woman from Newark, NJ, was arrested after leading deputies on a high-speed chase on Interstate 68. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop near the 58-mile marker, but Taylor failed to yield and attempted to flee at high speeds.

Law enforcement successfully blocked Taylor’s vehicle near the 41-mile marker, bringing the pursuit to a safe conclusion. No injuries were reported during the incident, and no traffic accidents occurred. Taylor now faces multiple charges, including obstructing and hindering, resisting arrest, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

It was also revealed that Taylor is currently on probation in New Jersey for firearm-related charges. Taylor is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center awaiting her initial appearance at District Court.
