WASHINGTON, D.C. — Metropolitan Police are searching for a suspect accused of hurling a keg through the front window of a Northwest Washington business during a destructive overnight attack caught on surveillance video.

The incident happened around 12 a.m. Monday in the 3300 block of M Street Northwest, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Investigators said the suspect approached the business, threw a keg through the front window and then fled the area.

Police released surveillance images showing the suspect as detectives work to identify the person responsible.

Authorities have not released details about the extent of the damage or a possible motive.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the incident is asked to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or submit anonymous tips through MPD’s text tip line at 50411.

Police said a reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
