Manchester, NJ – A 20-year-old man and two juveniles have been charged in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred last month in Manchester Township’s Pine Lake Park neighborhood, police announced.
The arrests follow a detailed investigation by the Manchester Township Police Department’s Investigations Bureau, which worked alongside the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigations Unit.
Police said multiple residents reported vehicle break-ins on November 10, prompting an immediate response from patrol officers and forensic technicians.
Surveillance footage led to quick identifications
Detectives obtained and reviewed surveillance video showing the suspects in the area, later releasing images to the public in an effort to identify them. With help from community tips, investigators linked the incidents to a vehicle and three individuals.
The adult suspect was identified as David J. Museliani, 20, of Manchester, along with two juveniles — a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male.
Charges filed, investigation ongoing
Museliani has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and theft, as well as use of a person under 17 to commit a criminal offense. He was released on summonses under New Jersey’s bail reform guidelines. The two juveniles will be processed through the state’s juvenile justice system in accordance with the New Jersey Attorney General’s directive.
Police thank public for assistance
Authorities credited residents with playing a key role in solving the case, noting that information and surveillance footage provided by the community were instrumental in identifying the suspects.
Police continue to urge residents to lock their vehicles, secure valuables, and report any suspicious activity immediately. Anyone with further information about the case is asked to contact the Manchester Township Police Department.
