Woman scores Keno jackpot at Pennsylvania bowling alley

Weekly lunch outing leads to $40K Keno win for Pennsylvania woman in Maryland

Forest Hill, MD – A retiree from York County, Pennsylvania, turned a casual lunch visit to Harford County into a $40,000 Keno win after playing her regular set of lucky numbers at a local restaurant.

The woman and her sister were dining at Fisherman’s Catch, located inside Forest Hill Lanes on Maurice Drive, on Sept. 11 when the midday Keno drawing produced a perfect match on her 8-spot quick-pick ticket. Her selected numbers — 7, 17, 27, 37, 47, 57, 67, and 77 — all hit, delivering the top prize.

She had stepped outside after purchasing the ticket while her sister remained inside. After checking the results, her sister scanned the ticket using the Maryland Lottery mobile app and confirmed the win. The retiree later claimed the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore on Sept. 16. She indicated plans to place the winnings into savings.

The restaurant will receive a $400 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

This is the third time in 2025 that a Harford County business has sold a Keno prize worth $40,000 or more. A Bel Air resident recently claimed $50,000, and another took home $60,000 earlier this year. The largest Maryland Keno win of 2025 remains a $150,000 prize awarded to a player in Prince George’s County.
