14-year-old killed after fall from Bronx subaway train

NEW YORK, NY – A 14-year-old boy fell to his death while walking between subway cars aboard the 5 train in the Bronx on Friday night.

Police said the incident happened near the 180th Street subway station in the Van Nest section of the Bronx.

According to police at around 8 pm, the boy was walking between cars when he slipped and fell under the train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
