On Monday, at around 5:45 a.m., officers were called to investigate a commercial robbery in progress at a business located in the 6400 block of Eastern Avenue. Upon arrival, a female worker reported being robbed by an unidentified male who forced his way into the establishment.
The suspect then coerced the worker to open the safe and fled on foot with an undisclosed sum of money. Following a search of the area, officers found and arrested the 30-year-old male suspect, who was subsequently taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged accordingly.
