Criminal Bank Incident Leads to Lockdown at Clarkstown School

April 10, 2024

CLARKSTOWN, NY – A recent fraud attempt at the Affinity Federal Credit Union on Bardonia Road prompted a swift response from the Clarkstown Police Department. Upon the officers’ arrival, one suspect was immediately apprehended. However, a second suspect, described as a female wearing a hat with “COLORADO” inscribed on it, fled the scene before she could be detained.

In response to the ongoing search for the female suspect, Bardonia Elementary, located nearby, implemented a lockout as a precautionary measure.

The lockout was later lifted without any further disturbances. Despite extensive searches by several Clarkstown Police officers, the female suspect remains at large. The investigation into the alleged bank fraud continues as local law enforcement seeks to apprehend the remaining suspect.
