Jackson family searches for missing dog near high school amid snow and freezing temps

JACKSON, N.J. – A Jackson Township resident is asking for the public’s help after his dog went missing near the local high school, prompting a neighborhood search and online appeals for information.

Kevin Marin said his dog, Cooper, disappeared around 6 p.m. near White Road, in the area of Jackson Township High School. The dog was last seen Wednesday evening, according to Marin’s public post seeking assistance.

Marin said Cooper has not returned home since and efforts to locate the dog in the surrounding area have so far been unsuccessful.

Residents in the neighborhood and nearby areas are being asked to remain alert and report any sightings that may help reunite the dog with its owner.
