WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that investigators say intentionally struck a pedestrian before fleeing the scene in Northwest DC.
The incident occurred at about 5:02 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, in the 4600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect intentionally hit the victim with a vehicle and then drove away.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have released surveillance video of the suspect vehicle and are asking anyone who recognizes it or has information about the incident to come forward.
