LAKEHURST, N.J. – An early-morning collision in Lakehurst ended with a school bus crashing into a home Thursday, bringing police, firefighters and EMS crews to the scene before most residents had started their morning commute.
The crash was reported at approximately 6:24 a.m. The school bus collided with another vehicle before striking the house.
No students were aboard the bus at the time.
Empty School Bus Hits Home After Collision
Emergency crews responding to the early-morning call found the school bus and another vehicle involved in the crash, with the bus having continued into the house.
Both drivers were evaluated by EMS at the scene, and one was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
