Crack cocaine traffic stop leads to drug arrests in Wall Township

Wall Township, NJ – A routine motor vehicle stop in Wall Township led to the arrest of two men on drug charges after officers reportedly found crack cocaine and paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, Patrolman Joshua Wheeler conducted a traffic stop on State Highway 71 that resulted in the arrest of Angel Romero, 47, of Brick, and Robert Siggelkow, 63, of Manahawkin. Both men were charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Romero was additionally charged with possession of oxycodone. Following processing, he was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Siggelkow was processed and released on a summons.

The incident remains under investigation by the Wall Township Police Department.
