HEMPSTEAD, NY – The New York Lottery announced today that a top-prize winning ticket for the Aug 26 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing was sold in Hempstead.
The ticket, worth $35,909, was purchased at Prime Petro located at 434 Clinton Street.
TAKE 5 numbers are selected from a pool of numbers ranging from one to 39. The game has two daily drawings, one at 2:30 p.m. and another at 10:30 p.m.
Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
