Chester County, PA – On Wednesday, the East Coventry Police Department along with Chester County Detectives addressed a murder-suicide case at the Manatawny Manor Nursing Home. Authorities responded following a 9-1-1 call reporting gunfire at the facility.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered an 89-year-old woman deceased and a 90-year-old man with a severe self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The firearm was located at the scene. The wounded man, identified as the deceased woman’s husband, was taken to Reading Hospital but did not survive.
