Toms River, NJ – The Ocean County Jail reported multiple new inmate bookings over the past 24 hours, with several defendants facing indictable criminal charges, according to the county’s inmate database. All charges are accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
Assault, resisting arrest charges lead latest bookings
Christian F. Monteforte, 22, was booked Friday on charges including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, violent behavior, and resisting arrest involving violence. Court records show he is being held without bail.
Jason Ryan Barone, 42, was committed Thursday on charges including resisting arrest by flight, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, obstruction of the administration of law, violent behavior, failure to allow fingerprinting, and disrupting or delaying the operation of a vehicle or transportation. He is also being held without bail.
Drug cases among recent commitments
Ezra J. Wheeler, 29, was booked Thursday on charges of possession of a Schedule I, II, III, or IV controlled dangerous substance and second-degree manufacturing or distributing between one-half ounce and five ounces of heroin or cocaine. He remains held without bail.
Jonathan Donald Acosta, 41, was also committed Thursday on charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and second-degree manufacturing or distributing between one-half ounce and five ounces of heroin or cocaine. He is being held without bail.
Michael Steven Ford, 55, was booked on a charge of unlawful possession of four units or less of a drug or stramonium preparation. His bond was listed at $2,000 cash.
Domestic violence, DWI among other bookings
James Joseph Brown, 57, was booked Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault by strangulation involving an alleged domestic violence victim. He is being held without bail.
Haja Manjula Sannoh, 30, was committed on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Court records list a $2,000 cash bond.
Heather Ann Biles, 48, was booked on charges of defrauding the administration of a drug test condition of supervision and eluding law enforcement by failing to stop. She is being held without bail.
Christopher Stryker, 32, was committed on a charge of engaging in prostitution and remains held without bail.
Theft and shoplifting charges filed
Robert Wesley Sprague, 30, was booked Thursday on charges including theft by illegal retention and fraudulent sale or advertisement of merchandise or real estate. He also faces a speeding charge. Records show he is being held on multiple warrants and bond conditions totaling $6,500.
Erika Marie Miekley, 26, also known as Erika Rosado, was booked on charges of shoplifting by concealment, driving without a driver’s license, and driving while revoked. Her records show multiple cash bonds totaling $3,750 after one no-bail matter was dismissed.
