PITTSBURGH, PA – A 70-year-old woman who was struck by a vehicle on Ward Street Thursday night remains in critical condition according to police.
“Shortly after 4 p.m., officers from Zone 4 were dispatched to Ward Street and Boulevard of the Allies for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle,” the Pittsburgh Police Department reported. “Responding units located a female victim, believed to be in her 70s. EMS transported her to the hospital with critical injuries.”
The male driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and cooperated fully with the police.
